 Barry Lay                  Charles B. (Barry) Lay has been a southern Arizona resident for some sixty years. Previously self-employed for the past 25 years as a licensed US Customs Broker on the Arizona/Sonora border, representing companies and individuals in their import/export transactions with US Customs. He maintains his customs broker’s license, and is available for customs and customs-related consulting. Barry has served on the Board of Directors of the University of Arizona Alumni Association, University of Arizona –Sierra Vista Foundation, Cochise College Foundation, Southeastern Arizona Medical Center, Douglas Chamber of Commerce, City of Douglas Economic Development and City of Douglas Finance Committee, member and charter member of Lions Clubs in Douglas and Elfrida, served as a Commissioner on the Cochise County Planning & Zoning Commission for some 25 years, and as a member of the Governor’s Small Business Executive’s Council.

Barry has his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Business, (Marketing/International Business), from the University of Arizona, and graduate degree from the Graduate School of International Management, (Thunderbird), in Glendale, Arizona. He has practical, every day, personal business experience managing his own business and branch offices in Arizona and neighboring border states. He brings knowledge of business evaluation, product marketing, logistics, US/Mexico business practices and cultures, as well as every day, hands-on experience with government regulation, nationally and internationally, as a small business owner, and a fortunate southern Arizona/border resident by choice.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, (SRW), clients can be comfortable conducting their business with RW Webb Consultants in either language with Barry. As an independently-contracting sales associate with RW Webb Consulting, his past experience working with government and in private business benefits clients of RW Webb.
